Upcoming 4th October, Google is going to call for an event where it is rumored to have launch the new Pixel 2 phones along with few other cool stuffs. Let us shed some light on the rumored features and specifications of the very anticipated smartphone The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The Pixel is likely to be made by HTC whereas the OLED screen is to be supplied by LG for Pixel 2 XL. LG may also be in the responsibility of making Pixel 2 XL. The design would be quite same of that of it predecessor with a dual tone back panel. The screen size the phones is going to vary from 5 inch, Full HD screen with aspect ratio 16:9 for Pixel 2 where as Pixel 2 XL may have 6 inch 2K display with aspect ratio of 18:9. Both the smartphone is going to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835, RAM of 4 gigs and internal memory with two different storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. As of cameras the phones are going to bear a single rear facing shooter of 12 MP and front facing shooter of 7 MP(no dual camera setup is known to come up as of now).There may be no support of OIS(Optical Image Stabilisation) but they are going to have EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). But the cameras are going to have a bigger and better camera sensors for photos and videos. 4K videos can be shot with ease by them.
The Pixel 2 is going to have stereo front facing speakers with no 3.55 mm headphone jacks. On the other hand Pixel 2 XL might lack the stereo front facing speakers but come with the beloved 3.55 audio jack.
The phones are further going to rated IP68 for resistance towards dust and water. Both will have the rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Battery rumors are not that strong but some sources say the Pixel 2 will have nearly 3000 mAh battery whereas the Pixel 2 XL may have around 3500 mAh one.
The Pixel 2 XLis also rumored to have a special feature named active edge which is some what like the squeezing edge technology present in HTC U 11. Using this one can just squeeze the edge to launch google assistant or for silencing the phone and some other things. They may also launched with the Android 8 a.k.a Android Oreo.
These are all the strong rumors which are been put together changes may be seen when the phones actually hit the market.
On the event of 4th October Google may even come up with Google Home Mini and improved Daydream VR Headset.
