As far as the digital world is concerned we come across the terms like Pixel and Resolution quite often. Today let us know more about them and how do the actually affect us. PIXELS Pixel is actually the abbreviated form of "Picture elements". Any image ( be it an actual picture of an object or written information ) which you see on your monitor or smartphones are stored in the form of these pixels. Pixel are actually the smallest unit of information or coloured unit that produce the images in front of us. They are primarily round square or rectangular in shape. These pixels are arranged in 2-D matrices and are very small in size ( we will give you an idea of how small pixels actually are).
